Meet Mr. & Mrs. Prophete
Certified Marriage Mentors
Hello! I am Harryson, a devoted husband, father and community minister, in its true Latin definition, meaning "servant." I serve my community in many ways including: mentoring young men, providing counsel to young adults, facilitating groups for youth and marriage ministries at the church I attend and advocating for students and teachers in my children’s school board district.
I am also a public speaker and have been invited to use my voice to speak at church worship services, Miami homeless shelters, and the American Kidney Fund, for which I am an ambassador. I may have a disability (kidney failure), but I am not disabled, and I use my role to raise awareness for kidney disease and make sure every kidney patient has access to quality health care. I work hard against all odds to fulfill to its greatest extent the true meaning of my title: Minister.
Hi there! I am Sheena, a devoted wife and loving mother. I have a heart for serving people and do so at the church I attend on the praise team and in the marriage ministry. I originally went to college to become a nurse, but like many freshmen, I changed my major several times before finding my professional calling in Human Resources.
Amongst the many highlights of my career, I am most fulfilled by being able to connect and guide people in their professional and personal endeavors. In that same spirit, I enjoy counseling people outside of work through their life journey and most recently people like you in their endeavors for marriage.

Together we are the Prophetes, and this is our story:

Our story follows the boy meets girl, girl and boy fall in love and they live happily ever after storyline, but like in every successful love story, there’s more to it than that.
We met in church, we spent 5 years really getting to know each other, and like in every girl’s dream, we got engaged in front of the Walt Disney World castle during the fireworks show, where thousands of strangers cheered us on when she said yes. We have now been together for 20 years and have two beautiful children.
Seems perfect right? Well, it wouldn’t be a true fairytale, without a villain, and the one in our story goes by the name of “sickness.” A true bad guy putting our “in sickness and in health” vows through the hardest test.
In 2014 I (Minister Prophete) was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure that led to 3 flat lines, a week in a medically induced coma, 2 organ transplant rejections and close to 50 surgeries. Sheena stood by me every minute, but had to endure the uncertainty of possibly being a widow and a single mother of two. Holding on to faith, we got through it as one, knowing that we could not do this alone.
Today, by the grace of God, we have defeated our villain and are managing well. Our union has not only grown stronger, but our battle has given birth to our life’s purpose, which is to see that all other unions learn to become one and succeed in the fight of their own villains.
With this purpose in heart and mind, we became certified marriage mentors and created Love Works Mentoring, a mentoring service to provide new and established couples with the tools they need to make love work and stand together as a unit. We know through experience that it is not easy learning to become one, and life will have crosses to bear and challenges to face, but we would be honored to guide you through your love story and make sure you are well equipped to defeat your villain.
